Rookie defenceman Connor Corcoran will represent Canada at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in Sault Ste Marie later this month.
“This is great news for Connor,” said Spitfires General Manager Warren Rychel. “He’s a mature kid with a great skill set and a bright future. This will be a great experience for him.”
Corcoran, a Beeton, Ontario native, was the Spitfires first pick (Round 2, #21 overall) in the 2016 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection back in April.
