As their school gets ready to close at the end of June, students, staff and families of Percy P. McCallum Public School will celebrate a 60 year legacy in public education this Friday, June 24th with a picnic and closing ceremony from 10am to 2pm.
The McCallum school community will become part of nearby W.F. Herman Academy in September, forming a K-12 school.
All the great things which have happened over the decades at the elementary school will be highlighted with displays and there will be the announcement of special dedication which will carry on the name of Percy P. McCallum in the public school board.
