Construction is set to start on the new Leamington District Secondary School.
Tuesday night, Trustees with the Greater Essex County District School Board awarded the tender to Rosati Construction for a cost of $24,580,185.
The new school will be located at 80 Oak Street West and will include 27 classrooms, six science rooms, four computer rooms, a triple gym, and have the capacity for 1,000 students.
Work is set to start soon and the new school should be ready for September 2017.
