Amherstburg has been awarded 5 Blooms and a Special Recognition for Floral Displays by Communities in Bloom.
This past July, the town was visited by judges who evaluated the tows parks and gardens based on a criteria that included heritage conservation, environmental action, tidiness, urban forestry, landscape and floral displays.
“Our success for the Communities in Bloom event was only possible due to the hard work and dedication of many people; staff, administration, Council and committee members, volunteers and residents should all be very proud of our accomplishment. Amherstburg shines as a true community.” says
