The Friends of Canard River invite you to Canoe The Canard! on Saturday, July 19th from 9am to noon at River Canard Park, which is located on the south side of Malden Road, approximately ½ kilometer west of the intersection of County Road 8 and the River Canard Bridge.
This event is being sponsored by River Canard Canoe Company, who is offering a special rate of $25 per canoe for this event. Canoes are available to the public on a first come, first serve basis. You can visit them online here or call 519-978-3672 to reserve a canoe.
If you are bringing your own canoe, they ask that you bring your own life jacket, bailer, line, and whistle.
Participants are encouraged to pack a lunch to enjoy at River Canard Park following the paddle.
