The Curiosity Shop, a traveling pop-up venue that encourages members of the public to ask questions ranging from, “Why is the sky blue?” to “How do you make a light sabre?”, will be in the city Wednesday and Thursday.
The booth is sponsored by the Council of Ontario University’s Research Matters campaign and will provide curious visitors with answers to their most pressing and obscure questions. Questions can be submitted in person at the booth, through the Research Matters website, as well as through YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
Research communicators at all 21 of Ontario’s universities will work to find a qualified expert from their institution to provide answers which will be posted on the Curiosity Shop website.
The Curiosity Shop will be at Devonshire Mall on Wednesday from 10am to 7pm or at the CAW Student Centre on Thursday from 9am to 6pm.
