Musicians From The Windsor Symphony Orchestra To Hold Typhoon Haiyan Benefit Concert

A benefit concert for victims of Typhoon Haiyan will take place on Wednesday, December 4th at 7pm at the Capitol Theatre.
The special performance is presented by musicians from Windsor Symphony Orchestra, the Windsor Symphony Youth Orchestra, the Windsor Community Orchestra, members of Project Harmony, and the Salin Lahi Dance Troupe in collaboration with the Filipino Community Centre, Inc.
Program highlights include excerpt from Beethoven’s Symphony no. 7, excerpt from Bach’s Double Concerto in D minor, excerpt from Mozart’s Flute Concerto in G Major, the Chorus from Handel’s Judas Maccabeus, the “Trepak” from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite, excerpt from Dvořák’s Symphony no. 9 and Bob Dylan’s “Make You Feel My Love” (made famous by Adele)
Tickets are $20, with all proceeds will benefit GlobalMedic, a relief organization chosen by the Filipino Community Centre.
