Windsor’s new Downtown water park has been officially given a name.
After receiving more than 900 submissions in a contest to name the facility, 5-year-old Annika Konopaski is the winner.
Mayor Eddie Francis announced this afternoon that the water park will be called ‘Adventure Bay Family Water Park Presented By WFCU’.

Konopaski, her family and 50 friends will be treated to the grand prize of a party at the new water park.
When the facility opens at the end of December, the cost for weekend entry will be $20 for children/adults 4 feet and taller and $15 for children/adults under 4 feet tall.
Monday to Sunday, from 4pm to Close, admission for children/adults 4 feet and taller is $15, and $12 for those 4 feet and under.
If you have an address within Windsor, the City says you’ll automatically save $5 off every admission rate.
