OPP Identify 25-Year-Old Woman Killed In County Crash

Essex County Road 11 just south of Concession 5 as seen in Google Earth
Essex County OPP have identified a woman killed in a two vehicle crash on Essex County Road 11 near Concession 5 in Essex, just after 5pm, Tuesday evening.
OPP say that of the two vehicles involved, the driver of a 1998 Ford Contour that collided with a 2010 Dodge RAM pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Contour has been identified as 25-year-old Nicole Rogers of McGregor.
The driver of the RAM, a 44 year old Harrow man, was taken to Leamington District Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
OPP say the investigation is continuing into how the fatal crash happened.
