Last week on The Windsor Scene we had a last minute guest, Sarah Morris, one of the hosts of Milk and Vodka, a feminist radio program that airs at 4 pm every Monday on CJAM. Sarah was discussing a benefit that was happening later on that evening, featuring musical talent from Windsor and Detroit. In case you missed the interview and/or the show, check out the details.
This week, however, I am going to give you guys some advance notice.
Murad Erzinclioglu, of the bands Surdaster and Learning, and coordinator of the Harvesting the F.A.M. Festival will be in for a quick chat. The FAM Festivities are in full swing after kicking off last Friday, so Murad will be around to fill us in on what has happened so far, and what we can expect as this year’s event moves along.
On that note, expect music from FAM participants, including Vultures?, Poughboy, The Hypnotics, (featuring their new drummer, Adam D’Andrea of The Nefidovs), and The Rowley Estate, fresh off the red carpet of their first movie premiere.
This all goes down on Wednesday evening between 5 and 6:30 pm on CJAM 99.1 FM. You can also stream live, or download the podcast for you later listening pleasure.
