At 6:14pm Environment Canada re-issued a Severe Thunderstorm WARNING:
At 6:00 PM radar indicates a severe thunderstorm over Southern Lake St Clair near Windsor moving southwards at 20 km/h. Large hail, torrential downpours and severe winds are possible with this storm. So far there have been reports over Southern Ontario of toonie sized hail and torrential downpours.
Severe thunderstorms are imminent or occurring in the area. These storms may produce large hail, damaging winds or heavy rainfall. Remember that some severe thunderstorms can also produce tornadoes.
Emergency management Ontario recommends taking cover immediately when threatening weather approaches.
