For it’s 36th production, Windsor’s Theatre Alive presents Chicago at the Chrysler Theatre (201 Riverside Dr. W.) the show runs until April 1st, and this is one that cannot be missed.
With live music from Music Express and a cast of over sixty performers, Chicago is a delight to see and hear. Christine Rossi and Kathy Roberts as Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly, respectively, simply shine in their portrayal of 1920’s murderesses, their singing and dancing spot on the entire time. Joseph Anthony as slick lawyer Billy Flynn made for some memorable moments, including his opening song All I care About.
In an overall spectacular production, one particular highlight is We Both Reached for the Gun where Billy Flynn acts as ventriloquist for Roxie, Anthony’s female-style vocals as amazing as they are amusing. With the entire company on stage for this number, it was certainly a sight.
This tale of murder, deceit, and music is only on for two more nights, so be sure to visit Theatre Alive online to obtain your tickets.
