The University of Windsor student Alliance is bring the party Downtown this September. Partnering with the St. Clair Student Representative Council and the Downtown Business Association, this party is a way to welcome the University Downtown.
The UWSA Coming Home, Music Festival will be held on the streets of Downtown Windsor on the afternoon of September 6, 2011. Yet to be named international music acts will take to a stage set up on the corner of University and Ouellette, roads will be closed off, as students and Windsorites will be encouraged to celebrate the future arrival of the University Campus to Downtown Windsor.
Fenced off areas will allow for the sale of alcohol to those in attendance between the hours of 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm. After 11:00 pm the concerts move indoors to a non Alcoholic party inside the Armouries on University Avenue East.
Grammy Award Winner Benny Benassi will be the headline act.
