Hello time traveller!!

The information listed below is likely outdated and has been preserved for archival purposes.

If you travel between Oldcastle and Windsor along North Talbot Road, be ready for a bit of a detour.  As part of the Windsor-Essex Parkway project, the existing section of 401 that leads into town must be widened to three lanes in each direction.

The North Talbot Road bridge over the 401 will be demolished over a 56 hour period, to take place sometime between the middle of this month and the end of September.

Things are expected to get noisy for nearby residents in Southwood Lakes and the tenents of the Southwood Lakes Extendicare Nursing Home, as crews will start pile-driving work for the replacement North Talbot Road Bridge.

Pile-driving work will commence on Tuesday September 6th or Monday September 12th, depending on weather.
