After a bit of a break, demolition crews are back on the WE Parkway route.

Jones Demolition is preparing to remove buildings south of Todd Lane, including Heritage Park Alliance Church, the 594 Legion Branch and other structures.

On Matchette Road, crews are clear-cutting groups of trees where the new highway will run.

On Bethlehem Ave, just off of Huron Church, Jones Demolition has begun tearing vacant houses down.

The Parkway project requires the demolition of 182 buildings along the project route.  These structures will be removed over the next three months.
