The first annual Balloonapalooza cold air balloon festival will take place this weekend in Downtown Windsor.  The event is sure to bring thousands of Windsorites to the downtown core, and with them their cameras. With that in mind, the Downtown Windsor BIA will be having a Picture Balloonapalooza Photo Contest with a great prize!

Open to all Canadian aged 18+, the Picture Balloonapalooza Photo Contest calls for submission of photographs taken at Balloonapalooza, to be held in the downtown Windsor July 30-31, 2011. Entries are to be digital photographs and submitted electronically as jpeg files to [email protected] or submitted as jpeg files burned to disk. Entries are to may be made in three categories: Scenic, People and Humourous.

The winning entrant from each category will receive a $50 gift card from a downtown dining establishment. Of the three winning entries, one will be selected as the overall winner and will be receiving two tickets to the August 12th  Kid Rock Concert at Comerica Park.
