Raymonts Berries offers customers an array of fruits and vegetables.
“It’s beneficial for people to come here because they get fresh stuff,” said Tracey Morrison, a worker at the outside market.
Morrison says the mushrooms are fresher here than anywhere else.
“The mushrooms we are selling were just harvested yesterday. By the time mushrooms get to the grocery story they are nearly a week old,” said Morrison.
Dockside Fisheries offers fresh perch, pickerel, rainbow trout and smoked rainbow trout. They commercially catch their own fish in Wheatley then process it in Leamington.
Part owner of Dockside Fisheries, Captain Claudio Adragna, says people are responding well to the freshness and fair pricing.
“The fish were caught yesterday so the freshness is there” said Captain Adragna.
Specialty Bakery offers numerous kinds of bread such as garlic oregano, light rye, sour dough and french nine grain.
There is also an assortments of cookies, pound cakes and pies. Strawberry pies come with a “no sugar added” option.
Pawsitively A Dog Thing sells all natural dog treats and accessories.
“All of the ingredients are human grade. There’s no ingredient that is bad for the dogs,” says owners husband, Tom Bauer.
Some recipes also cater to dogs with allergies.
The Riverside Farmers Market happens every Sunday at the Riverside Sportsmen Club from 8:00am-3:00pm.
