New Dog Park in Tecumseh Offically Opens Today

Today the new dog park in Tecumseh opened officially. It is located behind the Tecumseh Arena and replaces the old temporary solution located by the public works facility. The old dog park will continue to operate for the remainder of the season. The new park boasts many improvements including a paved path throughout, a fountain, benches, over a dozen new trees, a dedicated area for small dogs, and over 2.5 acres of hilly grass. Mayor McNamara and Councilors Bachetti, Blais and Dorion were on hand to kick off the new park with refreshments for both humans and dogs. See below for a map and pictures from the grand opening.
