Windsor Symphony Orchestra: Beethoven 7
Filled with light and optimism, Symphony No. 7 is immediately recognizable if you’ve seen the movie, The King’s Speech. Pipa player, Changlu Wu, graces the stage with a work written to celebrate the folk music of the Qilian mountains in China. This performance kicks off with Canadian American composer, Jared Miller’s Ricochet – Reverb – Repeat, which takes inspiration from electronic samples.
