In the neighbourhood? Take a trip to Downtown Windsor for Broken City Lab’s Storefront Residencies For Social Innovation; a month-long dynamic exhibit of art and social innovation in previously vacant storefronts.
SRSI “invites the radical re-imagining of the possibilities in occupying a vacant storefront in the heart of Windsor for one month” according to BCL’s website.
windsoriteDOTca’s Kari Gignac wrote a great piece on the ongoing exhibit — and Broken City Lab continuously updates their SRSI page with detailed information and photos on each of the participating contributors.
Upcoming SRSI events include digital, interactive open-mic nights, a lecture on YouTube techniques, a Bell Payphone intervention workshop, an imagined amalgamation of Windsor and Waterloo and the logistics behind the operation, a walk-in art workshop for kids, and much more. SRSI runs until July 10th. Find our more information at the SRSI microsite.
