The first of this three-night event featured Qristina and Quinn Bachand from Ireland, Alysha Brilla from Brampton, and Hamilton-born Garnet Rogers, among others.

The festival also features children’s activities, vendors, and musical workshops.

The K.F.F. runs until Sunday, featuring Cree vocalist Buffy Sainte-Marie headlining on Saturday and Latin Grammy award winner Alex Cuba on Sunday. Tickets for the weeks are $95 for a weekend pass, $60 for Saturday, and $50 for Sunday.
