Come Try Rowing Day
**Must register for a time slot before coming to our free event**: https://membership.rowingcanada.org/Joincomeandtry?id=242 Registering in advance reserves you a spot in a boat (weather-permitting)! Plan to spend about 1 hour at the club. For our event, we will show you around the club, and teach you some basics of rowing on the rowing machine and on the water. You’ll also learn more about our club and our programs (Learn to Row, Masters Recreational, Para, Juniors)! This event is open to anyone 13 years and older. What to wear: – Tight-fitting clothes (anything baggy or loose may get caught) – Close-toed shoes – Socks – Sun Protection (Sunscreen, Sunglasses) – Optional: Strap or leash for glasses Please note, that we have small lockers (Set Your Own Combination Code) available at the boathouse.
