Wild Goose Jack
Ages: 6-9 Date; August 5, 2025 Duration: 10:30am – 12:00pm (1.5 hours) Description: Travel back in time and learn about Jack Miner; a real-life nature hero who helped protect birds and wildlife! In this fun and engaging program, kids will learn about Jack Miner’s amazing work with geese, his love for animals, and how he helped create one of North America’s first bird sanctuaries. Through stories, games, crafts, and outdoor fun, young explorers will discover how one person can make a big difference for nature. Activities: ● Tour of the museum and historic house ● Scavenger hunt through the life and work of Jack ● Create your own bird bands take home craft! What to bring: ● Snack and water bottle ● All other materials provided Program cost: $5 per child
