The Storyteller’s Workshop
The Storyteller’s Workshop is a creative writing experience for youth aged 13–18 who want to explore storytelling without the pressure of perfection. Led by screenwriter, author and playwright Carlos Anthony, this workshop is designed for creatives who like to freestyle first — and find the structure later. Participants will receive a story prompt and dive into writing without overthinking. As ideas unfold, Carlos will guide them through the process of shaping their raw material into compelling narratives. Together, you’ll explore how to build suspense, develop tension, and keep readers or viewers engaged — while learning how to weave in action, comedy, or drama in ways that reflect your unique voice. No writing experience is necessary — just bring your imagination, your curiosity, and your willingness to explore.
