Run for Rocky
The Run For Rocky is one of the few Pride run/walks in Ontario held in conjunction with Pride Fest Events. This is a fun family event that draws hundreds to the waterfront each year for a feeling of Pride and friendship.
The fundraising efforts for this event supports the Run for Rocky Legacy Project that supports Gay Straight Alliance Clubs in local schools and post-secondary schools in Windsor-Essex County along with this area’s 2SLGBTQI+ agencies. This financial support includes GSA grants, GSA scholarships, funds students and educators to go to GSA educational conferences, supplies educational resources that help support parents and educators, provides a GSA Toolkit with Booster Boxes yearly for GSA Educational Leaders and accommodates Diversity Training for educators.
The event takes place along the beautiful Windsor Waterfront from Dieppe Gardens to the Ambassador Bridge. With an incomparable view of the Detroit River and Skyline along this route this is one of the most beautiful Pride run/walk events in Ontario. We are proud to partner with Windsor-Essex Pride Fest on this event.
