Mural Reveal Ceremony
Mural Unveiling – All Are Welcome The Canadian Transportation Museum and Heritage Village invites the public to a special event marking the unveiling of two murals created for the Gordie Howe International Bridge project by artists from Walpole Island First Nation and Caldwell First Nation. Originally displayed at the bridge site during its construction, these important works are now permanently installed at the museum. The unveiling will include a traditional smudging ceremony and Pow Wow circle led by members of Walpole Island First Nation (Bkejwanong Territory). This is a free, public event — all are welcome to attend. Restoration and installation of the mural were made possible through a generous grant from the WindsorEssex Community Foundation.
