Korda Artistic Productions will be holding open auditions for our 2014 production of The Beaver Den (music and lyrics by Taylor Abrahamse; book by Jaclyn and Jennifer Enchin). This new Canadian musical is set in Northern Canada 1999, where a cast of young Canadian actors are trying to keep their outdated kid’s TV show alive. They must prevent a corporate takeover of their production, all the while being perfectly polite like good Canadian kids should be. The show hits the stage May 9, 10, 11, 15, 16 & 17 in 2014.

Audition Information: Actors must have the ability to sing and learn movement. Those auditioning must have a song (preferably from a musical) prepared. They will also be asked to do a cold reading from the script. Sides from the script will be provided. Click HERE for the Facebook Event page for this audition.

TOM – Leading character. Recent theatre school graduate who wants to be the next great Canadian Star- determined, focused, intense.
