Ages: 10-14 Date: August 7, 205 Duration: 10:30am – 12:00pm Description: Walk in the footsteps of Jack Miner, one of Canada’s early conservation pioneers, and discover how his passion for birds helped shape wildlife protection in North America. In this engaging program, participants will explore the history of Miner’s work with migrating geese and the lasting impact of his legacy. Through hands-on activities, outdoor exploration, youth will learn how one person’s dedication to nature can inspire change for generations. Activities: ● Tour of the museum and historic house ● Cryptic scavenger hunt around the sanctuary ● Challenging trivia What to bring: ● Snack and water bottle ● All other materials provided Program cost: $5 per child
