SYNOPSIS: Opening in time for Hallowe’en is Korda’s production of Christopher Marlowe’s spectacular morality play, The Tragical History of Doctor Faustus. A learned man, bored with conventional topics, turns to necromancy, and sells his soul for 24 years of absolute power. Dark humour and true terror mix in Marlowe’s masterpiece. “… larger-than-life spectacle and magnificent poetry… compelling and moving…” – Renaissance and Reformation.
