Arrest Made After Stabbing

Police have charged several people after a stabbing.

Police say that around 10pm on Friday, June 26th, 2020 they were called to the area of Bruce Avenue and Giles Boulevard West for a report of a fight.

Officers arrived and located a youth with a non-life-threatening injury, reported to be a stab wound. The youth was transported to hospital.

It was reported that a physical altercation occurred between the victim and multiple suspects. During the incident the victim was stabbed.

Officers identified multiple suspects, as well as two suspect vehicles.

Officers located one of the suspect vehicles after the incident. One male youth who occupied the vehicle at the time was arrested without incident. This youth is facing a charge of aggravated assault.

On Saturday, June 27th, at approximately 10:30pm, police located the outstanding suspect vehicle parked in the City of Windsor. The outstanding male youth suspect was also located and arrested without incident in the area. The youth is facing charges of aggravated assault and failing to comply with an Undertaking.

Due to the fact both accused males in this matter are young offenders, they cannot be identified under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
