Arrest Made After Stabbing On Chandler Road

Windsor Police have laid charges after a stabbing.

Police say it happened around 6pm on Monday, May 18th, 2020, at a residence located in the 2200 block of Chandler Road.

They say the incident began with a verbal altercation at the residence between parties who are known to each other. During the incident an adult male was stabbed multiple times.

The victim was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A suspect was quickly located in the area and was arrested without incident. A knife, believed to be the weapon used in the incident, was recovered and seized during the investigation.

Robert Patterson, a 35 year old male from Windsor, is charged with assault with a weapon and aggravated assault.
