Windsor Man Charged After Chatham Crash

A Windsor man is facing charges after a single vehicle crash in Chatham.

OPP say it happened around 10:20pm on Tuesday, February 11th, 2020 on Highway 401 near Tilbury.

Police say when they arrived they located a vehicle up against the centre guard wire. Police discovered that the lone male occupant had been drinking and was subsequently issued a road side breathalyzer, which he failed.

As a result the driver, 72-year-old Philip Rustulka is charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).

The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to be in court on March 6th, 2020 in Chatham.
