UPDATED: One Arrested After Stabbing Downtown

A Windsor man is facing charges after a New Year stabbing downtown.

Police say that it happened around 12:15am at a business in the 500 block of Ouellette Avenue.

An adult male was stabbed and was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Through investigation a suspect was identified.

At approximately 6:15am, the suspect was located and arrested without incident at a business located in the 1800 block of Huron Church Road.

Branden McCraney, a 20-year-old male from Windsor is charged with aggravated assault and weapons dangerous.

No weapon was recovered.
