A police situation that began in east Windsor around 8:30am, Sunday, has resulted in charges against four people and an arrest warrant with charges for a fifth.

Police say it began as a reported domestic dispute in a residence between a male and female involving a handgun in the 1000 block of Marion Avenue.

Responding officers surrounded the residence and within a short period of time two adult males and one adult female exited the residence and were taken into custody.

A fourth person remained in the residence, refused to exit, and barricaded himself inside. Efforts were made to direct the man out of the residence. Around 3:30pm he exited the building after speaking to negotiators and was arrested without incident.

Police now say there had not been any domestic dispute, and that no weapon had been involved, but that all four individuals were suspects in a robbery on Friday June 2nd.

Timothy Szucs, 43, Jamie Fox, 37, Melissa Gasper, 31, and Jason Mallat, 44, are facing charges.

An arrest warrant has also been issued for Kyle Heywood, a 26 year old male from Windsor.
