Windsor Police have made an arrest after a bicycle theft.

Police say that on Wednesday August 11th, 2016 at approximately 11pm they were called to a restaurant located in the 600 block of Ouellette Avenue for a theft of bicycles.

They were told by the complainants that they secured their bicycles with locks and went inside.  When they came outside their bicycles were missing and they spoke to a witness who identified a suspect.

The complainants observed this male and confronted him about the theft.  The suspect left a bike and fled the scene.  Officers located the male and subsequently placed the 37-year-old suspect under arrest.

One bicycle is still outstanding, pictured above, and police continue to investigate.

Anyone who has seen this bike is asked to call police.
