An arrest warrant has been issued for a Windsor man wanted in connection with a string of home invasion style robberies in the Greater Toronto Area.

Peel Regional Police arrested two individuals in connection with a series of violent home invasions and jewelry store robberies that occurred between October 31st, 2014 and December 23rd, 2015.

Police called the acts were “vicious” and “cowardly.”

In some cases, the accused used hand guns, duct tape, zip ties and a taser to assault the victims which included elderly and children

Windsor’s Rashid Ahmad, described as a south Asian male, 25 years of age, 5’9” tall, 157 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, is wanted in relation to the investigation.

Ahmad also has a scar over his left eyebrow.
