Man Charged After Breaking Into Cars

A 46-year-old Windsor man is charged after breaking into several cars on Friday.
Police say it was around 5am when they received a call of a suspicious male in the 900 block of Hall Avenue. A witness in the area told police that he saw a male seated in the driver’s seat of Dodge Caravan that had a broken passenger window. He then watched the male exit the vehicle and walk between two houses.
Police began searching for the described male, and were able to locate a male matching the description that was provided. The man was located in the 900 block of Pierre Avenue while seated in the driver’s seat of a Subaru.
Officers discovered that this vehicle had the front driver side window smashed out and further discovered shards of glass on the ground directly below the window. Officers placed the male under arrest. Their investigation has revealed that several vehicles in the area and a garage were targeted by the suspect.
John Logan is charged with five counts of mischief, two counts of theft, break and enter and possession of break in instrument.
