Drugged Up Driver Caught Speeding on Pillette With $520 in Cocaine

Windsor Police have a 19 year old in custody after he was clocked at a high rate of speed while under the influence of drugs.

On Thursday, September 20th at 2:40am, Windsor Police officers were on patrol near Reginald at Pillette Road when they observed a black Cadillac traveling north on Pillette at a high rate of speed.

The Cadillac stopped for a red light at Seminole, and it accelerated rapidly when the light changed to green, continuing north on Pillette Road.

Officers stopped the vehicle in the 800 Block of Pillette Road. Police say the driver displayed signs of impairment. Officers conducted an investigation and the driver was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while his ability was impaired by drugs.

A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of 5.2 grams of suspected cocaine valued at $520 and a functional electronic scale.

The driver, a 19 year old male of Windsor, faces charges of impaired operation of a motor vehicle by drug, and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
