On Friday a 63-year-old woman was found dead in her home located at 564 Oak Avenue.  Police say she had been stabbed by a 40 year old male.  The male was arrested shortly after noon Friday.

The Windsor-Detroit Tunnel was closed for a few hours on Thursday after tunnel officials on the Canadian side received an anonymous call reporting a bomb in the tunnel around 1pm.  It re-opened around 5pm.

On Tuesday evening, a 36-year-old Michigan man received a number of superficial slashing type woundsby a 57-year-old Windsor man who used a screw driver to commit the unprovoked assault.

Also on Tuesday night, a 59-year-old man was stabbed with two common kitchen steak knives this evening around 5:30pm Tuesday after he refused to give another man some cigarettes outside of 920 Ouellette.

A 62 year old male rider of the eBike was killed Sunday night after being struck by a Silver GMC Sport Utility Vehicle at the corner of Ottawa and Parent.

A fire on Walker Road caused $700,000 in damages to the Midtown Bar and Grill. The fire was not considered suspicious and investigators could not determine how it technically started.
