Windsor SOUP is a student-run micro funding dinner hosted to help local groups obtain funding. Guests of the event pay a donation of $5 at the door, and are given a bowl of soup, salad, and an opportunity to vote for the project they believe deserves the funding. The Bruce Awad Summer Program will be one of the projects up for votes this Sunday, February 19 starting at 6pm at the Walkerville Brewery, 525 Argyle Rd, Windsor. Presentations (four minutes each) will begin at 7pm. The funding awarded is the amount raised at the door combined with a dollar for dollar match from the P & L Odette Foundation.

The program Autism Services Inc. Summer Program offers daily support in the months of July and August to individuals between 6 to 21 years who have a psychiatric diagnosis of autism. Some of the fun daily activities include aerobics, arts and crafts, music time, cognitive activities, food preparation, housekeeping duties, daily living skills, swimming, and a variety of appropriate community outings.
