Two people have been charged by the OPP after the execution of a controlled drugs and substances search warrant in Leamington.

OPP say that around 9am on Wednesday morning, they entered a property at 1935 Fox Run Road, which is a single story home next to a greenhouse.

The scene was secured overnight and police returned to the property Thursday morning to continue the investigation.

OPP say that 2,900 marijuana plants between 8 and 12 feet in height were seized having an estimated value of $2,900,000. In addition, approximately 91 pounds of harvested marijuana was seized, having an estimated value of $180,000.

Jon-Paul Fuller, age 44 of Lakeshore, and Doc Van Phan, age 53 of Leamington, have each been charged with production of cannabis marijuana, and possession of a schedule 2 substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Both men will appear in Leamington Court on November 17th, 2016 to answer to the charges.
