A Lakeshore man is facing several charges after allegedly breaking into an apartment unit.

OPP say that around 2am Wednesday November 11th, 2015, the 26-year-old man forced his way into an apartment on Notre Dame Street in Lakeshore.

Once inside he demanded cash. He left with an undisclosed amount of currency and a cell phone.

Jake Edwards was arrested and is facing charges of break and enter, using an imitation firearm while committing an indictable offence, possession of a weapon for the purpose of committing an offence, robbery, uttering threats to cause death, three counts of breach of probation and two counts of fail to comply with a recognizance.
