Windsor Police are investigating two break ins to commercial businesses in South Windsor on January 18th.
The first incident took place around 3:20am. Police were called for a commercial alarm at Prestige Pastries and Hamoudi Shawarma in the 3300 block of Dougall. Officers discovered that the glass door was smashed.
Video from both businesses shows the suspect throwing a rock through the glass doors and entering. He takes a tip jar from one of the locations. Video from a business across the street shows a possible suspect vehicle arriving and leaving at the time of the incidents. Police say the vehicle is described as a red pickup truck, possibly a Ford F150.
On the same night, police were also called to Capri Pizza in the 3000 block of Dougall Avenue for a similar break in.
Video surveillance shows the male suspect arriving in a red pick up truck, parking in a lot adjacent to the business. The male suspect walks up to the business and throws a rock through the front door glass. At one point he leaves the business and returns. He removed a small amount of change from a shelf.
