Four people have been arrested after police uncovered a fake credit card production lab where suspects allegedly used fake cards to make purchases at The Real Canadian Superstore.

Police were called Wednesday afternoon to Superstore at 4371 Walker Road. Store security had observed a number of people purchasing $600 in gift cards.

A loss prevention officer followed the individuals to the Costco parking lot where they parked a Silver Chevrolet Cruze. Officers investigated and four people were placed under arrest for fraud under $5000.

Police say through investigation a credit card theft ring was discovered and police located a “clandestine credit card production lab”. Police allege the group had been using stolen American credit card numbers in order to produce fraudulent credit cards and make purchases at stores.

21-year-old Doris Buissereth, 21-year-old Lambert Tourigny-Pepe, 22-year-old Jean Calli Fabien, and 20-year-old Joanie Boisvert-Deruisseaux, all from Montreal, have been each charged with fraud under $5000.
