Windsor Police have three people in custody after an early morning stabbing.

Police caught up with the stabbing victim on Ouellette around 2am.

The male was bleeding from puncture wounds to his lower back and his lower right abdomen. EMS transported the male to Hospital.

The victim was at a bar in the 2900 block of Tecumseh Road East earlier in the evening. He became involved in an altercation with several males at the bar outside in the rear parking lot. After the altercation, he was driven downtown by a friend and dropped off by his residence. The victim realized that he had been stabbed and was bleeding from his wounds. He began to walk to the Hospital when he was stopped by police.

Police went to the bar on Tecumseh Road East. In the rear parking lot, they observed 3 males seated in a vehicle. Officers observed that the males all had a blood on their clothing. One of the males matched the physical and clothing description provided by a witness. All three males, aged 30, 29 and 29, were placed under arrest for Assault with a Weapon.

At the hospital the victim declined to cooperate further with police. His injuries are considered to be non life threatening.
