Windsor Police have laid charges against two Windsor men in relation to Monday’s robbery behind the Lumberjack restaurant on Tecumseh Road.

Bruce Dellaire, a 43-year-old Windsor man, and Abbas Zeidan, a 33-year-old Windsor man have each been charged with one count of Robbery.

Police say the arrests were made around 6pm Monday evening, and 1:45am Tuesday.

The incident in question occurred as an employee of The Lumberjack Restaurant was robbed as she was attempting to get into her vehicle with a deposit bag from the business.

They say that one of the suspects approached her and grabbed for the bag. A struggle ensued and the victim was knocked to the ground. She was kicked several times and eventually lost her grasp on the bag.

The investigation is continuing and police are asking anyone with any information in relation to the incident to call (519)-255-6700 ex4830 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at (519)-258-TIPS (8477)
