Juts after 3am Windsor Police were called to the McDonalds Restaurant at Wyandotte and Goyeau for report of a fight.

When police arrived they found two male victims. One of the males a 25-year-old was bleeding from a gash he sustained over his right eye along with other injuries he sustained after being punched and kicked while on the ground.

The second 29-year-old male received only a minor injuries after being punched in the face two times.

Police say that the two males had gone to the McDonalds after a night of drinking downtown when one of the victims became involved in an argument with three other males.

The male with the gash to the eye was punched repeatedly and fell to the ground and was then kicked repeatedly by at least three or four males. The second victim tried to intervene to halt the assault when he was “sucker” punched from behind.

The suspects then all fled the area, but during the investigation a witness to the incident told police that he saw the suspects near Wyandotte and Pelissier. Police attended that location and arrested a 20 and 21-year-old males for Assault.

The police investigation continues.
