Last evening and into the early morning hours of today,  the Windsor Police Traffic Enforcement Unit conducted a R.I.D.E. Program in several locations throughout the City of Windsor.

Police report that out of the  247 vehicles were stopped, five 3 Day Suspensions were issued and one charge of impaired driving was laid.  In addition, 59 charges were laid under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.

This year to date, a total of 3781 vehicles have been stopped by police, fifty-nine 3 Day Suspensions have been issued, 6 charges of impaired driving have been laid and 476 charges have been laid under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.
