We need to hear from you!

Community leaders have joined together to address increasing rates of opioid use and overdoses in Windsor-Essex County. Now, is the time to take action to prevent opioid misuse and reduce the risk of overdoses in our community, and we need your help.
Join us, to hear from leaders, learn about the proposed Windsor-Essex Community Opioid Strategy and provide your input for developing a plan which reflects the needs of our community.

This is an issue that affects us all.

There will be a presentation on local data on opioid misuse and overdoses and a review of the proposed strategy. After the presentation there will be small breakout discussion groups.

In order to help us plan for the evening please indicate which area of the proposed strategy you would be most interested in providing feedback on:

– Prevention and Education
– Harm Reduction
– Treatment and Recovery
– Enforcement

Space is limited, so register today! Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

Contact the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit at 519-258-2146 ext. 3100 if you would prefer to register by phone.
