The MCC Awards Gala
The Multicultural Council of Windsor and Essex County (MCC) has announced two of the recipients for The 2025 MCC Awards Gala. The Herb Gray Harmony Award, established to celebrate individuals and organizations that have made remarkable contributions to fostering a welcoming community, will be presented to Mr. Rob Petroni, Business Manager of LiUNA! Local 625. The Champion Award celebrates first-generation Canadians who have made a significant and positive impact on our community. This year, the honour will be presented to Dr. Paul Ziter, a highly respected physician and compassionate healthcare and community leader. The recipient of Kathleen Thomas Inspire Award, recognizing Canadian newcomer who has overcome significant challenges to build a better future for themselves and their family will be announced during the ceremony. This year’s recipients will be honored at the 2025 MCC Awards Gala, taking place on May 1st at the St. Clair Centre for the Arts.
